DisableCameraSound

Enable disabling camera shutter sounds (and potentially screenshot sounds) on restricted Android regions.

In some regions, camera shutter sounds are legally enforced and cannot be disabled. This module restores user control over that setting.

Features

• Disable Camera Sounds: Allows toggling the “Camera sounds” option even when normally restricted.
• Mute Screenshot Sounds: Disables screenshot sound along with shutter sound.

How to Use

1. Install and enable this module in your Xposed manager (e.g., LSPosed).
2. Scope the module to System Framework (recommended).
3. Reboot your device.
4. Open your Stock Camera app settings.
5. Toggle “Camera sounds” to off.

Compatibility

• Tested on: AOSP
• Android Versions: Android 8.0+

Requirements

• An Xposed environment supporting libxposed 101 (e.g., LSPosed v2.0.1+).

[!IMPORTANT] This module has been verified only on AOSP. While it may function on some OEM skins or various Custom ROMs, these are not officially supported. I cannot provide assistance for compatibility issues occurring on non-AOSP distributions.
